Total Team Cost: $800 + cost of airfare
We are always excited about traveling to Nicaragua and even more excited when others join us! The cost of this 8-day 7-night trip is $800 + cost of airfare. The $800 will include lodging, transportation (in-country), and meals while in Nicaragua. A non-refundable deposit of $200/person is due February 14, 2026, with three additional monthly payments of $200 to be paid each successive month. We will recommend the best flights for the trip, and team members will be responsible for booking their own flights. We ask that no one books flights until we decide the window our team needs to arrive in Nicaragua. Deadline for purchasing airline tickets will be shared with the team once deposits are received. We will be staying in the team house (dorm style) at Open Heavens at the site of Katie Beth Carter Memorial Institute. We like to plan some fun activities/workshops/projects to do based on the gifts/talents of our team members. We also work at the property doing some small construction/work projects, as well as possibly volunteering in the clinic and Agriculture program while we are there. We love hearing any ideas or preferences for how team members would like to serve in these areas. We also highly value investing in relationships with people of the community. We visit homes, deliver food bags, play with children, pray with families, and help however we can. We always ask team members to bring a spirit of flexibility and cooperation on this trip. This trip will be limited to 20 team members.
